My take: 10/10! Has become a core piece of gear

I‘ve been enjoying the NEBO brand of flash lights since stumbling upon the brand last year at a Scouts store (as in Cub Scouts). They’re built really well, affordable, and nice to use

So I was intrigued when Edward (KO6DVZ) showed us a tiny NEBO light that lit up an incredible amount of forest during our troubled ham hike detailed here:

This is the only hike under my belt I won’t do again! [...] Seriously, this was a brutal one. It’s got plenty of ‘dirt stairs’, some scrambling, a false peak, and is completely exposed after the first 1/2 mile or so

I got one right away and have been so pleased with it. The (alleged) 500 lumens is fantastic, and the internal, replaceable, rechargeable battery lasts a shockingly long time

I’ve started clipping it in my pocket for every day carry and end up using it a lot!
