It would seem that this site is spicy with RFI! I’m going to start bringing my TinySA (spectrum analyzer) to new-to-me summits, because I’m super confused about what happened up there today. But NOAA bleeding through on 146.58MHz was a good clue.

Here’s what desperation looks like

I want to point out that getting outdoors is never a failure in my mind. I do wish that I was rewarded with the measly 1 SOTA point for this 2 mile (round trip) hike and setting up my gear- but I don’t view fresh air and the sights shown below a failure by any means. But I’d like to go back and get closure someday.

It‘s also always great playing radio with my two chasers on this one, NT6E (John), and KI6CR (Chris).
